Mr Chen Jam Cheng
Project Director

Starting his career as an engineer for Chung Chiang Science and Technology Institute, Taiwan, Mr Chen then worked as a project engineer for Yung Yu Steel & Iron Engineering Co Ltd for three years where he was involved in Taiwan's MRT underground projects. He joined Fuchi in 1997 and was in charge of establishing Fuchi's business and operations in Malaysia. Thereafter in 2001, he joined Du Bon Development Co Ltd in Taiwan in various managerial roles that are involved in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.

In 2007, Mr Chen re-joined the Group and was appointed as Project Director. Over the years, his in-depth knowledge and expertise in residential and commercial buildings have been crucial in securing new business opportunities. He holds a bachelor degree in Engineering from Fong Chiang University, Taiwan and a Master degree in Applied Mathematics from Tsing Hua University, Taiwan.

Mr Lam Hon Kong
Senior Manager (Commercial and Technical)

Mr Lam has been with Fuchi for more than 15 years and is one of the key pioneers of the Group. Starting his career in 1990, he joined the civil engineering and underground civil works department, of a leading Taiwanese construction company, where he was involved in various MRT projects and underground civil works. Prior to joining the Group, he was a project engineer a Wallbilt Pte Ltd.

Together with his accumulated working experience, Mr Lam has developed comprehensive technical knowledge in civil engineering works which is invaluable and instrumental in identifying new business opportunities for the Group. He graduated from National Taiwan University in Civil Engineering.

Mr Tan Heng Lam
General Manager (Operations)

Mr Tan has over 36 years of experience in steel fabrication industry. He started his career in Acme Marine where he was involved in steel fabrication work and project for 8 years. Thereafter, he joined Chip Soon Engineering for 10 years and rose to the position of operation manager before joining the Group in 2002. Equipped with practical knowledge in steel fabrication and project management capabilities, he oversaw one of the Group's largest project - Kallang and Paya Lebar Expressway.

Together with his team, Mr Tan ensure that the contracted projects are completed in a timely manner to its customers. Rising through the ranks in the Group, Mr Tan is now an Assistant General Manager, where he is in charge of project planning, including manpower and equipment allocation within the Group.
